Your content is stored on your device first. When you enable sync, everything you keep private is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your device, media files included. Only content you deliberately publish publicly is not encrypted. Milogs has no ads and no telemetry.
Does Milogs work offline?
Yes. Capture and recall work from data on your device without a network connection. Sync is an optional background enhancement, not a requirement.
What gets synced?
Only what you opt into. When sync is enabled, everything you keep private is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your device, media files included. Media files live with the storage provider you select, still encrypted.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your local database from Milogs and import it back at any time. Your data is yours.
Is Milogs a budgeting tool?
No. Milogs is a finance journal for reflection. You record why you spent, and what it cost. It is not accounting software.
